USCIS Processing Times by Field Office
How long USCIS says it takes to decide a Certificate of Citizenship or a naturalization application — and how far that estimate moves from one month to the next. Last updated September 30, 2026.
Each line is one USCIS field office. The value is the number of months within which USCIS reports that 80% of applications are completed. That figure is a trailing six-month measure, so consecutive readings share most of the same underlying cases — and it counts only cases that USCIS has completed, which means still-pending applications are not reported.
